Night Thing presents the world’s most heavyweight DJs, big and small, alongside our esteemed crate digging resident Dom Servini, of soul label Wah Wah 45s, every Friday night at the Jazz Cafe.
Though he maintains the future of music happened decades ago, Samy Ben Redjeb’s music is more relevant and dance floor compelling than it ever has been. One of Africa’s deepest digging vinyl archivists, he has been collating the richly rhythm laced African recordings that prefigured electronic music. Lush naïve melodies and up tempo percussion define the sound which Samy’s eponymous label Analog Africa have been largely responsible for pushing to a now global audience.
Perfect for groups of 15 to 150, our mezzanine level is all about exclusivity and intimacy. To reserve an area for drinks, click ‘party bookings’ and submit an enquiry.
