George Duke was a man of many talents. As a keyboardist, composer, singer and producer, he garnered a reputation as one of the most respected musicians involved in the music scene from the 1970s until his death in 2013. His output was prolific – he released over thirty albums throughout his career, of which the 1980 release A Brazilian Love Affair became the most popular. His work has many musicians over the years, with artists as diverse as Madlib and Daft Punk sampling his releases.
