This show has been rescheduled from Saturday 7th November. All tickets remain valid.
Contours is a live series of collaborative music and dance performances by Ariwo, a London-based electronic Afro-Cuban quartet led by Pouya Ehsaei (zabte Sote/Opal Tapes) and grammy-winning percussionist Hammadi Valdes.
Rooted in electronics and Afro-Cuban rhythms, carnival melodies and cosmic jazz, the band has also previously incorporated like-minded musicians from London’s thriving jazz scene including Binker Golding, Jay Phelps, Yelfris Valdés and our very own Oreste Noda of Sambroso Sambroso.
The first edition of Contours sees Ariwo partner with Cuban choreographer Etian Antuche Almeida (formerly of Ballet Rakatan) to create an immersive show that explores our physical connections throughout lockdown. Fellow Cuban artist and dancer Claudia Rodriguez, who has performed across the globe with a who’s who of international choreographers, joins on stage for this mesmerising performance.
Enjoy table service and drinks on the ground floor or a little bit of luxury and a view overlooking the stage from our mezzanine restaurant. Tickets for this show are bought in groups of 2, 3, 4 or 6 depending on the table you select.
