Baba Yaga's Hut presents: Colin Stetson

Baba Yaga's Hut presents: Colin Stetson
Sunday 23rd April 19:00-23:00

Virtuoso bass saxophonist Colin Stetson doesn’t so much as rip up the rule book for what it means to be a multireedist, but tear it up and burn it to a sinew. Having worked with indie rock luminaries Bon Iver and Arcade Fire and more recently jazz instrumentalists BadBadNotGood, he takes the modest bass saxophone to grandiose heights.

With an avant-garde and experimental approach to his compositions, his performances at the Jazz Cafe should be nothing short of revelatory.

Portuguese artist Filho da Mãe will be providing support.
