Jazz Cafe club night:
Guts presents We Fight For The Vibes (Bank Holiday)

Wednesday 1st June

“We Fight For The Vibes” is a unique night and one-off tour devised by the man himself Guts.Bringing fresh Atlantic vibes to his decks with BOSQ, who excels from Boston in disco-funk jams inspired by Afrobeat and Latin groove and CAPTAIN PLANET, Renaissance man and purveyor of Gumbo Funk whose sound lies somewhere between Brooklyn, Brazil, Cuba, New Orleans and the Congo.

Fabrice Franck Henri, otherwise known as Guts, is a French producer and DJ who has enjoyed a cult following ever since his debut release Le Beinheureux a decade ago. 2011’s follow up Paradise For All and 2014’s Hip Hop After All cemented his name as a worldwide talent who mixes jazz, soul and hip hop to devastating effect.

His crowning work is his Beach Diggin’ series, a collection of blissfully hidden gems that have been used as a gold mine by the likes of Motor City Drum Ensemble, Floating Points and other seasoned selectors.

He is joined by special guests Captain Planet & Bosq on the night. Artwork by @felix_godefroy.
