Join us for a rare evening with one of Jazz’s most esteemed figures and his critically acclaimed trio.
French double bassist Henri Texier is a hero of world jazz, perhaps best known for his 1960s work with Don Cherry and Dexter Gordon as well as for his 1980s band the Transatlantik Quartet, which featured Joe Lovano, Steve Swallow and Aldo Romano.
Alongside his trio he’ll perform some of his most celebrated works from throughout his career: Amir, Les Là-Bas, Quand Tout s’Arrête; and Indians plus more recent compositions: Hungry Man and Sand Woman.
