Night Thing presents the world’s most heavyweight selectors, big and small, alongside our esteemed crate digging residents every Friday night at the Jazz Cafe.
Championing the best sounds from all over the world, this is a feast for all music lovers.
The guy behind one of 2016’s best mixtapes, Jamie Isaac has fast become one of London’s rising stars. Rubbing shoulders with the likes of King Krule and Rejjie Snow, his music shares the same kind of South London sensibility with a clear love of dusty jazz samples and Rhodes grooves.
Influenced by everyone from jazz pianists like Dave Brubeck to The Beach Boys, Jamie’s record bag covers all corners of soul, funk, hip hop and disco.
Joining him is his south London cohort Ben Hauke, whose collection of hot jazz-house dancers on Church at the beginning of the year and remixes for Far Out Recordings and Africa Seven have accelerated this talented producer’s journey in to the limelight.
Support will be provided by our resident Dom Servini. Whether by himself or as one half of the Wah Wah 45s, Dom has been filling dance floors since the early 1990s with his beautifully blended, mix of music steeped in soul, jazz and funk.
Perfect for groups of 15 to 150, our mezzanine level is all about exclusivity and intimacy. To reserve an area for drinks, click ‘party bookings’ and submit an enquiry.
