Jazz Cafe and Metropolis present:
Jerome Thomas

Wednesday 27th February

Jerome Thomas is best known for his distinct, soothing sound, which samples various genres of music from Soul, Jazz, Folk to R&B and Hip Hop.

Since the release of his debut EP ‘Conversations’ back in 2016, Thomas has cemented himself in his very own lane as one of the most dynamic and authentic voices to have emerged from the UK. He has been championed by heavyweight platforms and radio stations such as Afropunk, Earmilk, BBC 1Xtra/Radio 1, Clash, Complex, GENIUS, Highsnobiety, Jazz FM, MTV, Rinse FM, Skull Candy & i-D (VICE); and has recently collaborated with industry pioneers including BONDAX, Ty Macklin (Erykah Badu, India Arie), Serious Klein, Ezra Collective’s Joe Armon-Jones, as well as Soulection’s Jarreau Vandal, to mention but a few.

Having recently been tipped by BBC 1Xtra DJ & tastemaker, Jamz Supernova as a top act to watch for 2019, it is becoming increasingly difficult to ignore the talents of this genre-defying musician.
