Week 2 of our nightclub reopening series brings us bubbling London producer Joe Hertz after the release of his dreamy new album Current Blues.
Having made his mark on YouTube channels like Majestic Casual and TheSoundYouNeed, Joe Hertz continues to immaculately blend elements of hip-hop, neo-soul and dance music, influenced by anything from J Dilla to classic console video games. The young Londoner – also the son of DJ legend, Pete Tong – crafts palettes of hazy, low slung beats, ready for both lounges and raves alike.
He’ll be supported by fellow London selectors FYI Chris, fresh of the back of their hard-hitting mega album Earth Scum, plus Jazz Cafe favourite Emma-Jean Thackeray.
