This is the rescheduled Matinee show from Sunday 24 January. All tickets from the previous date remain valid.
As the London Jazz Scene moves more and more towards the dancefloor, Kansas Smitty’s is the cinematic and meditative side of instrumental music.
Their latest record Things Happened Here (!K7/Ever) is a modern classic. Whilst their own-operated venue and bar was one of the conception points for the current jazz boom, Smitty’s have developed a musical voice wholly unique from what’s happening around them.
“One of the great bands of our current age…a brilliant band who have been an important part of the British jazz scene for several years. You need to be listening to their music”- Jamie Cullum, BBC3
“They dance to the beat of their own drum. Totally unpredictable!” – Cerys Matthews, BBC Radio 6 Music
Enjoy table service and drinks on the ground floor or a little bit of luxury and a view overlooking the stage from our mezzanine restaurant. Tickets for this show are bought in groups of 2, 3, 4 or 6 depending on the table you select.
