The Sell Out Celebration Returns:
London Astrobeat Orchestra play Talking Heads

Sunday 12th April

Following their 5-date sold out run, London’s finest multinational, West African outfit return to pay tribute to our favourite Talking Heads hits and the soundtrack to the documentary favourite Stop Making Sense.

The pervasive West African influence of these albums excellently lends itself to this completely unique take on David Byrne’s timeless compositions, paying particular attention to tracks from Remain in Light and Speaking in Tongues.

British bass player Edd Bateman has been collaborating with west African musicians for the last 15 years and his band has toured the world with musicians from Senegal, Guinea Conakry, Gambia, Cameroon, Congo, Cote D’Ivoire and Equatorial Guinea.

N.B. This is a tribute, Talking Heads will not be performing. Expect to hear all the hits from ‘Stop Making Sense’ reinterpreted in a West African Style.
