Described as “one of the finest, most intriguing singers on the British world music scene” by the Guardian, Olcay Bayir brings her powerful vocals and unique style to Camden for her first headline show.
Featuring a six-piece band of some of London’s global music specialists, expect a dynamic set that fuses deep-rooted sounds with a contemporary jazz approach.
On support is Demirdöğmez Project. Playing traditional tunes and high-energy Gypsy style, led by virtuoso clarinettist Gökhan Demirdöğmez with Zayn Mohammed (guitar and oud), Giuliano Osella (drums) and Tom Mason (bass).
