Amane presents:
The Spirit Of Eno

The Spirit Of Eno
Sunday 26th August

It’s no exaggeration to say that the genre of ambient music wouldn’t exist without the work of Brian Eno, not least because he coined the name for the genre himself.

Whilst his monumental work on records like Music For Airports and Another Green World are rightfully regarded as classics in the genre, he was by no means restricted to his self-described world of ‘ambient music’.

On records like Here Come the Warm Jets and through collaborations with fellow luminaries David Bowie, Jon Hassell, David Byrne, John Cale and more, he also touched on art pop, experimental and rock.

London based electronic Amané Suganami, who performs as Amane, will put together a two part showcase alongside some bespoke visuals from Marnie Hamilton, that will celebrate some of Eno’s greatest works from across his 45 year career.
