To celebrate, they are bringing us a live show from 7-10.30pm – and club night after party (from Danny Krivit) running 10.30pm til close.
The live show side will host Ethiopian icon Mulatu Astatke and his band. A trailblazer and creator of the Ethio-jazz genre, Astatke continues to reach audiences across the world with his unique, widescreen sound and his band of incredible A-list musicians. This is a rare chance to catch him in an intimate venue setting.
Joining the bill is Flock, a five-piece ensemble showcasing the best of London’s jazz and improvisational scene. The group features Bex Burch (fresh from her debut solo album on International Anthem), Sarathy Korwar, Tamar Osborn (Collocutor, Dele Sosimi, Unknown To Known), Danalogue (The Comet Is Coming / Soccer96) and Al MacSween (Kefaya).
