Much has been made of the explosion in the UK jazz scene over the past couple of years, with Yussef Kamaal, Ezra Collective, Shabaka Hutchings and more all helping dispel the stigma of jazz as a genre for the middle aged.
Flying the flag for the UK scene more than anyone is Moses Boyd, who counts Gilles Peterson, Four Tet and Floating Points among his biggest fans. His breakout hit ‘Rye Lan Shuffle’ combined elements from grime, jungle, bass and of course jazz into a beast of its own, and one that was played at peak time in clubs as well as in jazz bars across the country.
He brings his mighty Exodus show to our stage following a show at Corsica Studios earlier this year that sold out in a matter of days.
It’s his only London show before the end of the year so not one to be missed! Support comes from the London enigma that is James Massiah.
