Italian reggae stars Mellow Mood head to The Jazz Cafe for their only UK show in 2019.
One of Europe’s leading reggae acts, the band formed in Pordenone (North-East Italy) in 2005 when most members were attending high school together. Led by twins Jacopo and Lorenzo Garzia, the band soon started their partnership with producer Paolo Baldini, who was later to become their sound architect and dubmaster and officially debuted in 2009 with “Move!”.
Their most recent album Large was released by La Tempesta Dub in early April 2018; coupling fascinating melodies with their deep knowledge of roots reggae sounds of the 80s, the record is again produced by renowned dubmaster Paolo Baldini.
Manchester’s finest reggae outfit Jeramiah Ferrari will be opening proceedings on the night.
